Well, ignoring what's worthless is a worthwhile idea, but despairing isn't particularly helpful--though, don't get me wrong, I know how difficult it is not to sometimes. >__<

The Thermidorian pamphlets are short at least, so I've been able to get through a few of them. I read Hampson's bio of Maxime before I knew any better, and it was painful even then. Furet... I could maybe handle a short article, but there's no way I could sit down and read a book by him... (Although, on second thought, I might be able to do it if I could write comments in the margins, just to keep my sanity.)

I imagine you will--and me too, when I get to that point. >__>
