Unfriendly caricatures. Obviously.

I can't believe that this one and the next are both by Boze. It doesn't seem possible. I also have to wonder what Marat's sister was doing with this decidedly creepy portrait of Maxime.

What is it with pupil-less sculptures?

It's mini!Robespierre!

Why must people scupt him scowling?

Ah. *sighs* I think you can guess my feelings on this sculpture. I mean, LOOK AT IT!!! *sighs*

What is with the nose?

Why is the wig smushed?

Stupid Vendéens. This is what the medallion says on the back (since it's hard to read): "SA MORT MIT FIN A SON PARTI--ET 22 TETES TOMBENT EN MEME TEMPS. COUTHON. HENRIOT. ST. JUST. ETC. ETC."

Is it normal to stick a man and his would-be assassin face to face on a medal?

That's all for now...same questions as last time, by the way, if you would.

....I'm resisting the urge to make a questionable remark.

I like scowling!Robespierre. He looks so randomly evil. XD

All the different noses are slightly worrying, though.

Why? You know how I feel about questionable remarks;)

I believe that was the artist's intention.

Sometimes I think, in the case of sculptures, they just forgot that last detail...

...Um. Sheltering the innocent?

It worked. He needs little devil horns and a pitchfork. XD

Probably.

I? Innocent? If you say it...

*snort* I should like it better if such sentiments were in the open than concealed in irony like that portrait of him with the halo...

...You could've been. *sulk*

I've never seen that. It sounds hysterical, though.

Well, since I'm manifestly not, make what inappropriate comments you will.

Do a google image search for Robespierre--you'll find it.

But then, am I not to hear the one you had to make in this instance?

...*has a goldfish-like memory* Um. It was probably something to do with masturbation. I really should make notes, or something, so I don't forget this stuff.

*snort* Pity you don't remember; I'm sure it would have been amusing. If you think of it...

At least you're spared the scarring mental images this way.

Oh, but in my case the old scars are always replaced with new ones, so it doesn't matter much....
