...There's really not much to say after a title like that, is there? Well, except in explanation. I'm probably a sick person for finding it amusing that our milk expires on 21 January, the same day as Capet, needless to say. Though they don't tend to stamp expiration dates on kings. Or rather, usurpers, to keep Saint-Just happy. ;)
And for the second part: some writer for the LA Times wrote an article with the headline "French virtue is an oxymoron." Now, I know that this was an article on the new smoking ban, but still, I'm quite certain Maxime would find it upsetting. (I find it rather upsetting too, actually, especially considering the source... though I'm a bit too *WTF* to really be annoyed.)
In other news, I had my last final exam today... and I'll be lucky to pass it. Then again, math is not really my strong suit. The others were all projects and essays, so I doubt there will be any problem from that direction, at the very least. The good news is, now that I don't have any exams to study for or papers to write in the immediate future, I can work on some new translation projects. The only problem is, I'm not sure which to do first... I might post a poll, eventually, and I probably will just go with whatever result is most popular, so if any of the choices appeal to you, I would recommend voting. :D
Oh, and
maelicia: I don't remember whether I ever showed them to you or whether you ever found them elsewhere, but I seem to recall that the on-line scan of Babet's memoirs was less complete than the one I posted, particularly regarding the notes at the end, so you may want to look at my last entry, if you haven't already.
