What can I but weep?

...And express my dearest hope that nobody would genuinely take Isabella of Spain's side over that of our dear Revolutionaries.

Oh, I dunno. She had pretty clothes, and people are rather shallow most of the time sometimes...

But, yay, DMT. ^_^

[identity profile] estellacat.livejournal.com 2006-09-17 04:45 pm (UTC)(link)
But Maxime had pretty clothes! ;__;

Isabella of Spain = the root of all evil. Or something akin to it, in any case.

(I mean, seriously. I don't like Antoinette and all she did was party and write a few treasonous letters. Isabella had people tortured and burned at the stake. It's slightly worse. You know, juuuuuust a bit.)

[identity profile] josiana.livejournal.com 2006-09-17 11:24 pm (UTC)(link)
True. But he was scary and green. ...Or something.

XD

(I know. ;___; Lots of kings/queens/people with shiny hats did that too, though.)

[identity profile] estellacat.livejournal.com 2006-09-17 11:53 pm (UTC)(link)
And don't forget the fangs. *rolls eyes*

This is as good as I will ever get at math, I think.

(Lots? *dies*)

[identity profile] josiana.livejournal.com 2006-09-17 11:58 pm (UTC)(link)
Did he have cloven hoofs, or did anyone ever make note of that?

You're still better at it than I am. Math hurts my soul.

(...Yes, if by that I meant torture and kill people. That could've been phrased in a less vapid and childish way, however. >.>;;)

[identity profile] estellacat.livejournal.com 2006-09-18 03:52 am (UTC)(link)
I don't believe anyone mentioned that. Although Saint-Just might have; it would explain his donkey fascination a lot better if he actually was one. XD

Because I have the amazing ability to create equations involving no numbers whatsoever?

(Probably. But how many of them wore shiny clothes while doing so?)

[identity profile] josiana.livejournal.com 2006-09-18 04:06 am (UTC)(link)
...............O.O It all makes sense now.

Yes. =(

(Er. I dunno?)

[identity profile] estellacat.livejournal.com 2006-09-18 10:09 pm (UTC)(link)
Doesn't it though?

Wow. That's er.....wow. No one's *that* bad at math...

(Well, would you say a majority or only a few?)

[identity profile] josiana.livejournal.com 2006-09-18 10:54 pm (UTC)(link)
;____; Why, Saint-Just, why?

...I'm talented like that.

(Probably only a few. Entrails are hard to clean off.)

[identity profile] estellacat.livejournal.com 2006-09-22 12:56 am (UTC)(link)
Does one choose whether or not to have cloven hooves?

Surely no one could be *that* talented...

(It makes sense.)

[identity profile] josiana.livejournal.com 2006-09-22 01:36 am (UTC)(link)
Probably not.

...Are you doubting my brilliance? ;____;

(Yes. >.>)

[identity profile] estellacat.livejournal.com 2006-09-22 01:41 am (UTC)(link)
Therefore, the donkey-obsession wasn't his fault either.

No, merely positing that it's quite remarkable.

(But ugh. Entrails. Blood is one thing, but...)

[identity profile] josiana.livejournal.com 2006-09-22 01:48 am (UTC)(link)
Unless it was all part of a vast incomprehensible conspiracy.

Oh. Yay.

(I know. Ewww.)

[identity profile] estellacat.livejournal.com 2006-09-22 01:56 am (UTC)(link)
As most things are.

XD

(Let's speak of less gross things....shall we?)

(Anonymous) 2006-09-22 02:06 am (UTC)(link)
Yes. If only people knew.

^^;

(...Okay. :D Like bunnies and kittens, and whatever Maxime's wig is?)

[identity profile] josiana.livejournal.com 2006-09-22 02:07 am (UTC)(link)
Ack. Sorry. That was me.

[identity profile] estellacat.livejournal.com 2006-09-22 02:16 am (UTC)(link)
It's all right. Really.

[identity profile] josiana.livejournal.com 2006-09-22 02:22 am (UTC)(link)
Er. I'll stop apologizing, then?

[identity profile] estellacat.livejournal.com 2006-09-22 02:25 am (UTC)(link)
Yes. Very good.

[identity profile] estellacat.livejournal.com 2006-09-22 02:12 am (UTC)(link)
I'm sure they do, deep down.

...

(Exactly.)

[identity profile] josiana.livejournal.com 2006-09-22 02:16 am (UTC)(link)
I hope. ^_^

...Er. >_>

(Aww. I'm sure they're cute and fuzzy and non violent, whatever they are.)

[identity profile] estellacat.livejournal.com 2006-09-22 02:24 am (UTC)(link)
You know they do. Deep down. XD

Um.

(Of course they are! How could a wig be violent?)

[identity profile] josiana.livejournal.com 2006-09-22 02:28 am (UTC)(link)
Oh. Do they just ignore it then?

......I dunno?

(...By being around Hébert for too long?)

[identity profile] estellacat.livejournal.com 2006-09-22 02:29 am (UTC)(link)
Well, yes, that's what is implied by "deep down," isn't it?

I don't either.

(Can that really turn anything violent?)

[identity profile] josiana.livejournal.com 2006-09-22 02:37 am (UTC)(link)
...I suppose. ;___; *Vapid, me?*

Conspiracy.

(...Well, they could get tired of listening to him, and go on a killing spree.)

[identity profile] polypragmosyne.livejournal.com 2006-09-17 02:57 pm (UTC)(link)
*facepalm* It's beyond my rational capacity on how people can get on that side...

[identity profile] estellacat.livejournal.com 2006-09-17 04:47 pm (UTC)(link)
There's still the possibility that the typist is just acting, but I somehow doubt it, considering it's hardly mandatory for a monarch who lived and died before the Revolution to read Thermidorian propaganda.

...But even so. Even if somebody believes every word of Thermidorian propaganda, and thinks that Maxime wanted to guillotine all of France....Isabella wanted to torture all of Spain and burn them at the stake! There really shouldn't be any hesitation here.

[identity profile] ex-senza6.livejournal.com 2006-09-17 05:04 pm (UTC)(link)
Hey! Er, Fersen-typist here. Hope it's okay to comment - I'm not stalking you, I just dropped on this from a friendsfriends page and went "OMG, that's me". Uhh, anyway, not sure which typist you refer to here - if it's me, please be assured that I do not think Robespierre & co are worse than Crazy!Isabella. I'll freely admit that I do have some sympathy for Antoinette, but as you say, Isabella = crazywtf. Mostly, though, I just enjoy playing Fersen as The Bitterest Man In The World. If it seriously bothers you, I'll tell him to lay off Eleonore right away. ;)

If you refer to Isabella's typist, can't say, but I'd imagine she's just acting and trying to defend her puppet's corner with anything that comes to mind.

[identity profile] estellacat.livejournal.com 2006-09-17 05:19 pm (UTC)(link)
It's fine;) There's nothing wrong with the way you play Fersen; it's fun arguing with Fersen.

I was referring to Isabella's typist. And I do hope that's the case. If it's not well....icon.

[identity profile] ex-senza6.livejournal.com 2006-09-17 05:51 pm (UTC)(link)
Ah, good, just didn't want to be responsible for breaking anyone's brains. And thanks; it's fun to argue with Eleonore as well. ;)

[identity profile] estellacat.livejournal.com 2006-09-17 06:01 pm (UTC)(link)
Don't worry. It's always nice to have some friendly argument;)

[identity profile] estellacat.livejournal.com 2006-09-17 11:53 pm (UTC)(link)
Indeed.
