PICTURES! :D

I finally got the pictures from last Halloween developed! (In case anyone was unaware, I went as ghost!Éléonore.) They came out somewhat... interestingly, but they're still worth looking at, for one reason or another.

I suppose the creepy expression is appropriate... The hat is not though, I should mention: that kind of hat is from about 1870, and thus Éléonore could not be wearing it. But it was the only thing I had that would keep the veil on, so there you go. >.>

This one's a bit blurry.

This is me without the veil, looking much too happy. Though, on the other hand, if I'm a ghost, I might be reunited with Maxime (whose face is on that medal, btw), so perhaps that's the reason...

...Then again, judging by that face, perhaps I haven't been.

Here's another one where I look far too happy. So I decided it must be because I've finally gotten revenge on the Thermidorians, somehow (as will happen in my next fic :D). Thus, the red coloring really is Symbolic, to borrow elvenmongoose's term.

It's the same idea for this one, but mostly just because my expression was so scary. Your guess is as good as mine as to what was going on in this last picture, because I really can't say I remember.

Awww. Mine have moods like that too sometimes, but usually they act fairly statuesque. Except when I want to photograph them. At which point they run away, or refuse to look at the camera, or some combination of the two.

Meh, machines are overrated. (Well, at least as far as historical accuracy is concerned: for anything before 1830 they didn't have them, and you wouldn't want to use the primitive type they had in the early years of the sewing machine anyway--provided you could even get one.)

XD Thank you. I tried--it's not easy being a ghost. Or making a decent costume for one.

It would have to be more bonnet-like. The one I had perches on top of one's head, which is a later style. And I'm not so sure she would be wearing flowers, even if they were all black. >.>

Which puts me in mind of the other thing this costume is missing, though it's not particularly apparent if you're not looking for it: I wanted to find a ring like the one Esquiros says Maxime gave Éléonore, but I didn't find one in time. KITTIES AND PUPPY. :DD Always win. I kind of got a giggle out of their names being Égalité, Combeferre, and...Muffin. XD Still, 2 out of 3 on originality is good - better than mine, with Skittles, Shadow, and Jasmine.

No, actually no more than me...but we got Jasmine when I was 7, Shadow when I was 10, and Skittles when I was 12. XD; So...um...I didn't know any better? =D?

That's a viable excuse: I would almost certainly have done equally as badly at naming my pets if I had gotten them at 7 and 10--and as you can see, I already did at 12. >.>
